Sneak peek of a maternity session in Botanical

A Rainy Day Maternity Shoot in the Botanical Garden

Yesterday, I had the joy of capturing Janine and Kenneth's maternity session in the botanical garden, an experience as unpredictable and delightful as the weather itself. Despite the island's unpredictable climate, we decided to brave the elements, hopeful for memorable moments. And memorable it certainly was.

No sooner had we started than a gentle rainshower decided to join us. This brief interlude of rain felt like nature's way of celebrating with us, before we were chased into a quaint hut by a sudden downpour. There, amidst uncertainty and with Janine at 37 weeks, we all agreed on that itΒ΄s best to continue the session. And fingers crossed for the rain to end.

Our patience was rewarded. The rain ceased, and we returned to the lush greenery, now even more vibrant and inviting. The moments we captured post-rain were nothing short of magical, filled with love, anticipation, and the fresh essence of nature.

Reflecting on the day, I'm deeply thankful for Janine and Kenneth's trust in me as their maternity photographer. The adventure we embarked on wasn't just about capturing beautiful images but about embracing life's surprises. The session was a beautiful reminder that sometimes, the most unforgettable experiences come from the unplanned moments.

Thank you, Janine and Kenneth, for a truly memorable afternoon. Here's to new beginnings and the beautiful journey ahead with baby Bryant.

Warmest regards,
Gunilla
