Unlike studio shoots that involve posing the baby in a controlled setting, a lifestyle newborn photoshoot takes place in the comfort of your own home. It's a relaxed and stress-free way to create beautiful memories of your baby's early days. With a focus on the connection between family members, In-home newborn sessions are comfortable and personal and stress free.
If you prefer an outdoor session, I'm happy to suggest tried and tested locations or work with you to bring your vision to life at a place that holds sentimental value to you. While capturing your beautiful newborn is a big part of the session, I always encourage the whole family to get involved, including your furry family members. It's a privilege to be invited into your space and to capture those tender moments full of love and joy. It's one of my all-time favorite things to do!

This allows plenty of time for breaks, nappy changes, and feeding, without causing any unnecessary stress for the baby or parents. We want to make sure that the session is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, so we take our time and create a relaxed atmosphere.

Absolutely! We welcome and encourage your entire family to join in the session. We believe that capturing the essence of your family with the arrival of a new member is essential, so all members, including your furry family members, are welcome.

While it is entirely up to you, we have found that many clients prefer to do their own hair and makeup for the session. However, we do recommend considering investing in professional hair and makeup services. We believe that when a mother feels confident and beautiful, it translates into beautiful and memorable photographs. It can also be a great opportunity to take some time for self-care and pampering before the session. Ultimately, it's all about how you feel and what makes you comfortable.
What should we dress in for the session?
Simple and comfortable clothing works best for the session. Choose an outfit that makes you feel confident and fabulous. For partners, coordinating with your outfit is perfect. Avoid clothing with large checks, spots, stripes, or logos.
